Aquatic Occupational Therapy Swim Program

Flying Start Children’s Therapy provides an inclusive water safety and skills program, to support kids to be safer and more confident in the water. Designed and facilitated by experienced AustSwim and AutismSwim qualified Occupational Therapists. The aim of the program is to develop transferable skills for the pool, beach, lakes & bath whilst supporting the child’s specific needs. This program can support children who are unable to participate in mainstream swim programs.

This program runs during school terms.  The sessions are designed and tailored to suit the needs of the client, supporting emotional and sensory regulation, coordination and communication styles. Programs vary from 1:1 sessions to up to 3 children in each group.

 

We offer some intensive programs throughout the year (run during the school holiday periods). Please refer to our social channels Instagram and Facebook for the latest group scheduling times.
