Fun with Food

Our Fun with Food groups are a place for children who's food preferences and habits are affected by their disability. They are supported with evidence-based therapies to learn about food and how to eat it.  The sessions include practical age-appropriate food-based play, food preparation and/or cooking activities to promote interaction with, discussion and exploration of a variety of foods.  Groups are offered with specific age ranges to target mealtime and eating skills appropriate to their developmental level.

The aim of the groups is to provide a safe, fun, no-pressure environment to increase children’s exposure to a range of foods, improve their food knowledge, mealtime and eating skills and give them the confidence to try and accept a greater variety of foods.
